by Ulrich Fieldman There are disadvantages and advantages with painting your car yourself and going to the workshop to paint. Reasons to Paint Your Very Own Car. One.It is a money saver or at least could be if you do it right of course. If you dont take the time to learn to do it the right way then it could still be a pricy endeavor. 2. its a huge accomplishment to complete this task then be able to step back and look at the great job you’ve done.
